The Way It All Began...

The Pack-A-Drum Company was founded in Satellite Beach, Florida in 1994 by William Wagner. After evaluating standard compactors for use in the fast food industry, William recognized that electromechanical compactors had numerous disadvantages, making them undesirable and impractical for restaurant use. Pack-A-Drum was designed to overcome the problems associated with compacting trash.

The company name was derived from the prehistoric mammal the pacaderm. Since the beginning, our goal was to produce a safe, long lasting piece of equipment. The precision manufacturing in a superior product produces the level of performance, reliability and durability our customers have come to expect. Pack-A-Drum received overwhelming response to its introduction of the first manually operated compactor in 1996.

The enthusiastic acceptance of the original Pack-A-Drum led to the development of additional items like the dining room trash can with chemical caddy and custom platform cart. These two additional items complete the Pack-A-Drum System which facilitates the movement of trash from the front of the house to the dumpster in the safest and most efficient manner. Customers agree our system significantly increases workplace safety, reduces opportunity for theft and lowers risk for both guests and employees while notably decreasing costs.

Today, Pack-A-Drum’s proprietary system has revolutionized the handling of low density waste and simplified this operation into a profit generating solution. The Pack-A-Drum experience has never been about simply selling products but about developing value-added services and customized solutions for handling low density waste in every corner of the world. Our customers say it’s the solution approach that makes doing business with Pack-A-Drum a unique experience. Over the years, we have helped Quick Service Restaurants, Retail Stores, Schools, C-Stores and Bowling Alleys reduce their trash costs by 40-70%.
